Included in your trip is your Batobus pass for your arrival in Paris. We want you to take this time to “walk off the flight” - you will sleep soundly and get the most out of your travels if you follow our prescribed route of acclamation. You will arrive at your hôtel, check your baggage in with the front desk (they are expecting to take your luggage for you), then, you will walk right back out the front door of the hôtel and follow our walking route. It will include many of the highlights of Paris, as well as insistance to enjoy the river, when you board a Batobus and cruise down the Seine towards the Eiffle Tower. The PDF of your BATOBUS passes are attached to your names below - They have been registered under Maison Meritage, and are valid beginning the first time you use them.

Batobus - check out the schedule

Paris Arrondissements - for your reference to the city. Paris is circular, and winds from the oldest in the centre around and outward to the surrounding areas/neighborhoods. To understand, in short: the 1st is government buildings for the most part (beautiful and grand), the 2nd is historic buildings, great shopping, muséums and the heart of old Paris, as you move into the 3th you are gazing across the Seine to the 6th (the Latin Quarter). The 4th & 5th are where a lot of Parisiens live, and the 7th brings you out to Le Tour Eiffel.
